Separate test and training environments
Each of our Charitylog clients has a separate database holding their own information. Your data is not mixed in with any other client's data.
As part of the standard use of Charitylog we provide one (or more) additional, separate databases which can be used for staff training, trying out new ways of working or new projects, or looking at upcoming enhancements before you apply them to your live system.
There are options within Charitylog to update this 'replica' database from the live database for testing and training purposes.
This is important because it gives you the chance to look at things or train people without the risk of inputting incorrect or made up data into the live database.
